PTCP 2013 — Framework QC07 Overcommunal Interest Services — Metropolitan City of Florence

Territorial Plan of Provincial Coordination approved with Delib. C.P. of 10/01/2013 (BURT No.11 of 13/03/2013). The Charter represents the following services of supra-municipal interest identified on the basis of functional excellence, the size of the settlement, the supra-municipal breadth of the catchment area and the scope of influence of the possible effects induced by the transformations: — university poles of Careggi, Novoli, and Sesto Fiorentino and Morgagni multipurpose didactic center; — secondary schools; — hospital facilities (Poli Hospitaleri del Mugello, S. Maria Annunziata, Nuovo Ospedale San Giovanni di Dio, Istituto Orthopeco Toscano (IOT) Palagi, SS. Annunziata and Careggi); — central offices of the Tuscany Region and the Province of Florence; — new Palace of Justice of Novoli; — Sollicciano prison facilities and main military areas; — main museum structures of the Florentine Museum Pole; — national library; — sports facilities with a large public competition (Stadium and Palazzetto of Campo di Marte, main golf clubs Ugolino and Poggio dei Medici, racecourses of Mulina and Cascine, technical center of Coverciano, CONI school course of Sorgane, Autodromo del Mugello); — large recreational and exhibition facilities (Firenze Fiera, Fortezza da Basso, Palazzo dei Congressi, Palazzo degli Affari, Saschall, Leopolda Station, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, multiple cinema of Campi Bisenzio and Florence); — equipped parks of Cascine, Renai and Lake Bilancino.
