PUMS — Cycle — Florence Metropolitan City

The Urban Plan of Sustainable Mobility (PUMS) is the strategic document that aims to guide urban mobility policies for the next 10 years.With reference to traffic and safety parameters, law 2/2018 defines as cycle routes (Art.2) routes that include one or more of the following categories: a) cycle lanesb) cycling routes) green cycle routesd) cycle paths or nature trailse) roads without traffic and low trafficf) roads 30 g) pedestrian areash) areas with limited traffici) residential areasThe Metropolitan Council of Florence has initiated the procedure for the drafting of the metropolitan and SEA verification PUMS with Resolution No 121 of 19 December 2018 and by Resolution of the Metropolitan Council No 24 of 21/04/2021 definitively approved the Pums-Urban Sustainable Mobility Plan of the Metrocity.
