Dataset description

The dataset consists of the database on the regional control programme of the Lazio Region for the protection of the health of the population with regard to radioactive substances present in water intended for human consumption (Legislative Decree 28/2016 — Ministry of Health Decree 2 August 2017). The Monitoring Plan provides for sampling and analysis of total alpha and beta activity and radon over 5 representative supply areas of approximately 50 % of the regional population. The samples are carried out by the Local Health Companies competent for the territory, which provide samples to ARPA LAZIO for analysis at the laboratory in Viterbo.
