Regional Network for Environmental Quality: groundwater. Data for 2016

_Chemical, chemical-physical and quantitative data year 2016_ Data on the monitoring carried out in 2016 at stations of underground water bodies belonging to the regional environmental quality network pursuant to DIR 2000/60/EC are presented. The monitoring of underground water bodies belonging to the regional network established in accordance with Directive 2000/60/EC, final monitoring of the first three years within the 2015-2021 planning cycle, as requested by the Hydrographic District Authority, continued in 2016. A review of the water bodies and the network was carried out between 2014 and 2015, in order to better describe the environmental status of the underground water bodies in the region; the results of the 2014-2016 monitoring, subsequently supplemented by the monitoring already underway for the three-year period 2017-2019, will contribute to a picture of the environmental status of groundwater and by concluding the six-year cycle included within the 2015-2021 district planning cycle, will provide guidance for the revision of the PdG itself, with identification of the necessary measures to maintain or improve the quality of water bodies.
