Resident population for Sub-Communal Areas (neighborhoods) at 31.12.2017 of the city of Matera

The dataset is the photograph updated as of 31.12.2017 of the residents of our city divided by age groups, old age index (it is a demographic composition ratio, defined as the percentage ratio between the population aged 65 and older and the population of youth 0-14 years), index of dependence (it is obtained by comparing the resident population of non-active age from 0 to 14 years and 65 years and above the population of working age from 15 to 64 years, this ratio, which is generally multiplied by percent, measures the demographic burden on the population of active age. Values above 50 % indicate a situation of generational imbalance). And finally, the Structure Index of the working population (it is the percentage ratio between the population aged 40-64 and the population aged 15-39 years.
