RNC Detection Civic Numbers and Buildings.

The RNC (Detection of civic numbers and buildings) was carried out as a preparatory activity to the 15th General Census of Population and Housing of 2011, in municipalities with a population of not less than 20,000 residents (as of 31/12/2010). The dataset contains some useful information about the destination and type of use of the buildings, the material used for the construction as well as the construction period and the state of preservation of the buildings. There are also geographical coordinates expressed in WGS84-UTM33 useful for any georeferences. It should be noted that, since the latest checks by ISTAT — Department for Censuses and Administrative and Statistical Archives — are still ongoing, some data may be subject to any subsequent changes.
