Roads with greater incidentality 2004-2017

This geographical dataset contains the traffic graph indicator For each arc of the Ferrara road graph the punctual data of serious accidents (with injuries and or deaths) that occurred in the period from early 2004 to the end of 2017 have been aggregated The indicator considers represents the total number of serious accidents per 100 meters of road — The estimates of traffic flows have been developed as part of the drafting of the Urban Sustainable Mobility Plan. The traffic simulation model implemented takes as demand input the O/D matrix of vehicular traffic only on private cars relative to the peak time interval of the morning (between 8 and 9 am). The model simulations on the current state, and in particular the representations of the degree of saturation on the arches, highlight particular critical situations of the network on the radial directions of access to the historic center of Ferrara.
