Dataset description
Precise representation of the concentration values (expressed in mg/kg) of certain metals/metalloids in the surface horizon of the soils (top-soil) produced both by the former Multizonal Presidio of Modena (currently ARPAE) on behalf of the Province in 1994, and in the context of the project “Cartography pedogeochemistry” of the Sismic Geological and Soil Service. The data relating to the latter are the same as those used for the ‘Charter of the Natural-Anthropic Fund of the Emilia-Romagna Plain’. The range of metals/metalloids analysed varies at individual sampling points and consists overall of As, Cd, Cu, Cr, Hg, Ni, Pb, Sb, Sn, Zn.
