Seismotectonic map of the Emilia-Romagna Region and neighbouring areas (2016)

Since 2004, the year of publication of the first seismotectonic map of the Emilia-Romagna Region, many things have happened and new knowledge has been acquired.The seismic networks have been implemented, the Po Valley and the northern Apennines have been affected by various seismic sequences and new studies have been carried out. This allowed to acquire a considerable amount of new data and better characterise tectonic structures.It was therefore considered appropriate to update the seismotectonic paper published in 2004, also by expanding the area of study, i.e. to include the non-regional seismogenic zones of interest for a correct assessment of the seismic hazard of the regional territory.The publication consists of the paper at scale 1:250,000 (2016 edition). accompanied by 7 deep geological sections, illustrative notes (93 pages) and DVD containing, in addition to pdf formats of notes, paper, sections and legend, also a file of the study area in kmz format with focal mechanisms and a compressed folder with the paper raster in tif format, georeferenced in WGS 1984 UTM Zone 32N coordinates.
