Dataset description
It represents the baseline for the definition of the set-back area as provided for in Article 8 of the Protocol for the “integrated management of coastal zones”. The baseline corresponds to the upper level of the high winter tide, calculated as the manual interpolation of the cartography data of the ‘vulnerability at sea’, carried out under the Cadsealand and MICORE projects. For this purpose, it is assumed to use the data of vulnerability referring to return times of 10 years, considered, on a historical basis, good indicators of the highest level of the winter sea.
