Showcase Tuscany — restaurants and shops

Showcase Toscana is a project for the promotion of the Tuscany Region to which the system of the Chambers of Commerce and their regional Union also collaborate. The project proposes to integrate between the discovery of the territory with on the moments, museums, libraries, archaeological sites, with the agri-food and food and wine productions. In the restaurants and shops of Vetrina Toscana there are quality regional productions, coming from the short supply chain transformed into dishes of the local culinary tradition, or discovering new ones. The leitmotif of the project is represented by the link with the territory, with the seasonality of the crops, with the extraordinary richness of Tuscan cuisine and its current interpreters. In the grocery stores of Vetrina Toscana, regional agri-food products are the characteristic element of the assortment and the knowledge of quality and production characteristics is the real added value of the network. With the project the Region and Unioncamere Toscana want to contribute to revitalising an economic sector of small businesses that until now have managed to keep alive the culture of good food and have renewed the Tuscan contribution to the value of the Mediterranean diet a World Heritage Site. The membership of the project is annual (solar year) and takes place with the signing of the specification, registering on the site: www.vetrina.toscana.it
