Small maternal memories

Since 2006 CineFabrica has been carrying out a project entitled **Cinema ambulante — memories on the road**. It is a traveling project born from the need to tell and preserve, through the reports we realise, the stories of the places and people who live there. The idea behind the project is the desire to document, preserve and disseminate the *small memories*: we don't care to tell the “official” story of a place, neighborhood, city or town. What stimulates us is to tell that place through the gaze of one or more characters who live daily that social/relational space contribute to nourish the collective memory of the community of belonging. The small memories are the seemingly insignificant stories that unfold daily in the alleys and squares of towns and cities. These stories are born, developed and become important thanks to the interaction between people.
