Dataset description

Summary of major causes of death by type of death and sex in absolute values and percentages of total deaths. Also included are deaths occurring in other municipalities or abroad (transcribed acts) for which the following classification has been used because of the lack of documentation relating to the causes of death: OTHER UNKNOWN CAUSES ARISING FROM TRANSCRIBED ACTS. The data refer to the actual date of death and not to the date of cancellation from the registers of the Civil State.
