Dataset description

The CSV file contains the surnames of all the residents of the municipality of Matera. The second column shows the total number of individuals with their surname. The dataset contains the situation as of 31 December 2013. It was necessary to make changes on 01/12/2014 because all those surnames starting with lowercase characters (e.g. MA..., LE... etc.) had been automatically transformed into capital letters and then counted with capitalised homonyms.
