The maps summarise the distribution of the various types of damage recorded along the regional coast during the period 1946-2010, during the event of seafaring. In fact, the maps show the places that have been affected most recurringly by the storms and the type of damage suffered. The locations reported are those most frequently used in reporting (generally with more than 5 alerts) while the various types of impact have been summarised in five categories:E: erosion of the beach and the dune.I: submersion for marina entrance.T: overflow of canals and port-channels.D: damage to maritime and defence works.
