The multi-scale DBTI (Integrated Territorial Data Base) provided for the adaptation and structuring of CTRN’s I and II lot compared to IntesaGIS standards and the subsequent update by means of the photogrammetric resumption of 2007. The 1:10,000 and 1:25,000 scaled CTRN production was derived from the database built on a scale of 1:5,000. The geographical information was organised into hierarchical groups, following the model defined in the framework of the State-Regions Agreement on Geographical Information Systems. The hierarchical categories (each divided into layers, themes, classes) are as follows: geodetic information; road, mobility and transport; real estate and anthropopisations; hydrography, orography; vegetation; technology networks; administrative limits; areas of relevance. The filesystem used is Oracle 10 g with SDO geometric extension. The structure of the logical model allows complex management and querying of the spatial information (query) relating to each object, such as the type of a building or a road, the altitude of a level curve, etc. The topographic database was created within the framework of Integrative Act II of the Framework Programme Agreement (APQ) Development of the Information Society of the Abruzzo Region and was implemented by RTI Rilter/E-Geos/SIT/Assoservizi.
