Tourism: presences in accommodation facilities by provenance 2000-2019

The dataset contains data on the flow of tourists in the accommodation facilities of Milan, distinguished by country/area of origin. ‘Presence’ means the number of nights spent by clients in accommodation establishments during the period in question. The data are available from 2000 to 2019, but with different levels of disaggregation reflecting geopolitical changes over the years (particularly for the EU area). To ensure the highest level of detail and a correct reading of the data, two different historical series were created (from 2000 to 2004 and from 2005 to 2012).
