Area representation of the population centres, made on the basis of the data to be provided by the municipalities to the Provinces, relating to the identification of the starting points of the inhabited centres themselves along the access routes, identified in accordance with Legislative Decree No 285 of 30 April 1992 “New Highway Code” and subsequent updates, Article 3(8), which provides the following definition of inhabited centre: ‘...set of buildings, bounded along the access routes by the appropriate signs of beginning and end. A set of buildings means a continuous grouping, even if interspersed with roads, squares, gardens or the like, consisting of no less than twenty-five buildings and areas for public use with vehicular or pedestrian access to the road.”
