Transitional waters — mollusc analysis data (years 2008-2021)

The data shall be collected as part of the monitoring programme for shellfish waters; the monitoring is carried out in accordance with Legislative Decree No 152/2006 — Annex 2 — Section C, which sets out the general criteria and methodologies for the detection of quality characteristics and the calculation of the compliance of these functional assigned waters. Measures of bacterial contamination and bioaccumulation of certain pollutants shall be carried out, as regards marine waters, on the bivalve Mytilus galloprovincialis using organisms taken from reefs/moles located near the monitoring transepts, near the coastline; clams or oysters can also be analysed in lagoons in addition to mussels.
