Transport — Contributions to municipalities for the application of special rates

The Regional Executive establishes criteria and methods for allocating resources for the application of special cards, pursuant to LL.RR. 10/95 (repealed) and 37/98 et seq.mm.ii, in favour of disabled persons with reduced mobility, as well as socially weak groups, through the allocation of special contributions to municipalities. To this end, the Region allocates part of the Regional Transport Fund (FRT) and specifically resources equal to 1 % until 2012 and 2 % since 2013. The breakdown, carried out according to the data resulting from the last census, is drawn up for 70 % in proportion to the residents of each municipality and 30 % inversely proportional to the density of the population of the municipalities themselves.
