Dataset description

TRIX Trophic Index intervenes in the classification of the ecological status of coastal marine waters in support of biological quality elements (EQB); Depending on the macrotype of coastal waters, defined on the basis of the hydrological characteristics of the water column (stability), the class limits between good and sufficient status are identified in Ministerial Decree 260/2010: 5 units for macrotype I water bodies (high stability); 4.5 units for macrotype II water bodies (medium stability).
