Web services for measurements of air quality and radioactivity

The air quality assessment is carried out annually by the Provincial Environmental Agency in accordance with the criteria laid down by state legislation (Legislative Decree 155/2010). The assessment consists of comparing, on an annual basis, the data provided by the monitoring system with the limit values and target values set by air quality standards. Therefore, only the annual evaluation is able to determine whether or not they are being respected and, more generally, to provide a reliable framework on the real situation of air quality in our territory. The evaluation of the collected data also allows to identify possible situations of risk to health and the environment. The results are also a useful tool for air quality planning or the preparation of plans and programmes to protect the air as required by current legislation.
