Dataset description

Meteorological radar measures the intensity of precipitation (rain, snow, hail) in and around South Tyrol. This web service provides the URLs of 15 images taken by the precipitation radar in 5 minute intervals. The cyclical display of the 15 images produces a precipitation animation that has occurred in the last 75 minutes. The web service can be interrogated in German, Italian, Ladin and English and can provide data in both JSON and XML formats. __ATTENTION: from 13.7.2018 the new webservice is made accessible with high-resolution radar images. The previous version of the webservice will be switched off in the medium term (date yet to be defined).__
