Work: registrations (annual data) — Metropolitan City of Florence

Records relating to the period 2005-2012 certifying the immediate availability for work by all those who go to a Employment Centre. Persons working on a fixed-term contract of less than eight months for those over 25 years of age or less than 4 months for young people aged 24 to 29 if they are graduates shall also be considered as members; it also includes employees whose annual income has not exceeded EUR 8000, and self-employed persons from 1/01/2008 for whom this threshold is set at EUR 4800. The data refer to the Annual Reports published by the Services for Employment Division of the Province of Florence which uses as a statistical source the SIL, the Information System of the Tuscany Region, an telematic tool adopted by the Employment Centres for the management of their competent procedures including: registrations, communications of recruitment or terminations or extensions or transformations of employment relationships sent by companies, mobility lists, targeted placement. They include the 7 main Employment Centres of the Province of Florence, excluding the Empolese-Valdelsa Circondario. Data for the year 2009 were stabilised for April 2010; those of 2010 were stabilised in July 2011. The figures for the year 2011 are stabilised for the month of September 2012, those of 2012, come from an extrapolation carried out in July 2013.
