Amicable settlement

The data set is published to reflect the settlement processes organised and conducted by the SPD between the victim and the person who committed the offence. The reconciliation process is an essential instrument of restorative justice, it is intelligent as a person who has committed a criminal offence, can take responsibility for what has been done and voluntarily engage in a conversation with the victim in the presence of a trained mediator. Successful reconciliation process, helps the person who has committed a criminal offence to refrain from committing new criminal offences.
