Information on the classification of constructions is published on Eurostat’s hairpin server https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/ramon/nomenclatures/index.cfm?TargetUrl=LST_NOM_DTL&StrNom=CC_1998&StrLanguageCode=LV&IntPcKey=&StrLayoutCode=HIERARCHIC&IntCurrentPage=1. The classification ensures uniform coding of buildings (buildings and civil engineering) in EU countries by use. It is used to develop construction definitions and laws and regulations of the construction process, to characterise the process of building operation.
