Dataset description
OCSP is one of the electronic certificates validity check protocols — Online Certificate Status Protocol.
It provides an online process for verifying the status of certificates for issued certificates, incl. — verification of the online status of eID card holders’ authentication certificates in accordance with eIDAS by issuing a signed certificate of validity of the certificate.
The inspection shall ensure the up-to-date status of the certificate. If the status is non-compliant, e.g. cancelled before the expiry date, signature or other action with the certificate cannot be carried out.
The database provides information on the number of OCSP requests received per day since 1 January 2019. Data is updated daily.
