Medical manipulations performed in the framework of state-funded dental, outpatient and hospital health care services

The data set lists the manipulations entered in the records of dental, outpatient and hospital health care services with the contracting partner of the National Health Service. This is only part of the manipulations carried out in Latvia, as this dataset includes only the part of the services to be paid in the country provided within the framework of the health service agreements concluded with the National Health Service. The data set contains the following fields: • Year — year of the accounting document; • Module — AP- Outpatient Health Services, SP- Inpatient Health Services, ZP- Dental Services; • Institution code — Health Inspectorate Register of Medical Institutions Code; • Name of the institution — name of the medical treatment institution; • Manipulation code — the code of manipulation of the State Paymentable Manipulation Classification Code of the National Health Service ( https://www.vmnvd.gov.lv/lv/pakalpojumu-tarifi ); • The name of the manipulation — the name of the manipulation of the State-paying Classification of Manipulations of the National Health Service; • Total number — number of manipulations in all accounting documents that are ‘payable’, whether or not the accounting document is invoiced. The status of “payable” shall be granted in accordance with the accounting documents entered in the contract, which have passed the basic and logical checks of the quality of the documents and which may be included in the invoices; • The number of accounting documents included in the invoice, but the payment for the manipulation in question may not have been made. In cases where the relevant manipulation is indicated not in accordance with the payment conditions laid down in the contract, for example, non-compliance of manipulation and medical treatment institution, non-compliance of manipulation and doctor’s specialty, non-compliance of manipulation and patient (gender, age, diagnosis), other manipulations of the accounting document are paid and the accounting document is included in the invoice, but the non-conforming manipulation does not result in a payment transaction and payment is not made for it.
