Products, groups of products which have been awarded the EU Ecolabel

Companies whose products have been awarded the European Union Ecolabel for the period 2015-2021. Comments: Eco-labels have not been awarded to any company’s products in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Data on eco-labels awarded in 2021 are compiled up to and including the third quarter of the year. Additional explanation: The European Union (EU) Ecolabel is a voluntary scheme established in 1992 with the aim of promoting products whose environmental impact is minimised throughout the life cycle and providing consumers with accurate, non-misleading and scientifically based information on the environmental impact of products. The Ecolabel scheme is governed by Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009 on the EU Ecolabel. The competent body for awarding the EU Ecolabel referred to in Article 4 of the EU Regulation in Latvia shall be the State Environmental Monitoring Bureau (the Office) pursuant to Article 38(1) of the Environmental Protection Law. Products and services that have been awarded the Ecolabel can be identified by the Eco-label logo, the Eco-label logo, which symbolises the fulfilment of certain environmental, health and product quality standards approved by the European Commission (EC).
