Statistical Classification of Goods by Activity, Revision 2.1

EU statistical classification of goods by activity which determines the production of economic activities or services linked to the activities defined in NACE Rev. 2. The classification consists of: • Level 1 with positions identified by the alphabetical code (sections); • A second level with positions identified by a two-digit numerical code (Chapter); • A third level with positions identified by a three-digit numerical code (groups); • A fourth level with positions identified by a four-digit numerical code (classes); • Level 5 with positions identified by a five-digit numerical code (categories); and • Level 6 with positions identified by a six-digit numerical code (subcategories).
