Air quality zones and agglomerations INSPIRE View

Today, the problem of air pollution, especially cities, is very acute. Pollutants in the air are able to change environmental conditions (negatively affects not only air quality, but also some pollutants enter soil and water), harm human health and ecosystems. Air quality management therefore plays an important role in the national environmental management system. Information on air quality concentrations in Europe is available in the European Environment Agency’s developer on Up-to-date air quality data, while information on air quality indicators in Europe is available on the European Air Quality Index Dataset containing air quality surveillance zones in accordance with the reporting requirements of the EC Air Quality Directive (2008/50/EC)
