Earth Surface Cover Data — Dataset

Land surface coverage data — physical and biological coverage of the land surface, including artificial surfaces, agricultural areas, forests, (semi) natural areas, wetlands, water bodies, physical and biological cover. INSPIRE datasets on the ground surface. The INSPIRE Land Surface Covering Database provides Latvia’s land surface data compared to European data. INSPIRE Earth coating layers were transformed from the same layers of the CLC 2012 map database on a scale of 1:100 000. The database uses the European Environment Agency’s Eionet data word coding system. Data is published using WMS and WFS services.
