Dataset description

Forest reserves and special forest areas of Liechtenstein are governed by the Forest Act (LGBl. 1991 No 42) with the Ordinance on Forest Reserves and Special Forest Areas (LGBl. 2000 No 230) protected. Forest reserves are forest areas left to the undisturbed, dynamic development. Special forest areas are forest areas with priority nature protection and landscape protection functions, in which measures can be carried out in accordance with the protection objective.
