INSTALLATION OF “RETTUNGSPUNKTE” EMERGENCY POINTS

Following the installation of “Rettungspunkte” first relief points in the Grünewald State Forest as part of a pilot project launched in October 2016, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps and the Nature and Forestry Administration finalised the establishment of 59 points to improve the location of people in an emergency situation. The aim of this project is to ensure a faster and more efficient intervention of the rescue services by integrating these numbered points into the GIS database of the intervention management software (“ELS-Einsatzleitsystem”) of the C.S.U. 112.
