Dataset description

This file contains the LAU codes for the municipalities of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the population figures as of 1 January 2016, the area, density and degree of urbanisation. To meet the demand for statistics at local level, Eurostat has set up a system of local administrative units (LAUs). The LAU2 level includes municipalities or equivalent units in the 28 EU Member States.
