Dataset description
Seveso establishments fall within the scope of the Law of 28 April 2017 on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances (national transposition of Directive 2012/18/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances).
The purpose of this legislation is to:
1. to carry out the prevention of major accidents involving dangerous substances;
2. limit the consequences of major accidents involving dangerous substances for the safety and health of persons and the environment;
3. to ensure a high level of protection.
