Absenteeism according to employees; gender and age

This table contains data on absenteeism of workers aged 15 to 75 years broken down by gender and age. This includes workers who are employed but do not provide work due to illness, maternity leave or other temporary career breaks. Furthermore, the table also contains data on the last case of absenteeism of employees. This absenteeism can be more than 12 months ago. Data available from: 2014. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 20 April 2022 The figures related to the subject ‘Employees who have failed’ were unjustified as unknown, insufficiently reliable or secret for the category ‘Total men and women aged 65 to 75’ in 2014 and the category ‘Men from 65 to 75 years’ in 2017. This has been corrected. The annual figures for 2021 have also been added. When are new figures coming? The figures for the previous year shall be published by May at the latest.
