Adoptions (excluding stepparent adoptions) by age child when admitted to family

The data in the table 'Adoptions (excluding step-parent ad options) by age child when admitted to the family' relate to both Dutch courts filed adoption requests as adoptions through the Hague The Adoption Convention. If a child is adopted from a country that is membership of this Convention, the adoption becomes automatic and complete recognised without the intervention of a Dutch court. The table contains only data on ordinary adoptions and not on step-parent adoption options. The table shows the number of adoptive children according to their age at the moment of inclusion in the adoptive family. Children from the Netherlands and children from abroad are distinguished. Data available from: 1995. Status of the figures: All figures shown in the table are final figures. When will the new figures come? This table is no longer supplemented.
