Dataset description

Location and animal numbers of all agricultural holdings in the Netherlands known to the Dutch Enterprise Agency (EZ) that are agriculturally active on 1 April of a given year and occur in the agricultural census or the combined GDI of that year. The file contains information about the type of holding, the location of secondary establishments, and animal numbers. Companies abroad that do have land in the Netherlands have also been given a geographical point. The location of this point is the centre of the largest plot they have in use in the Netherlands on 1 April of the year in question.
