Airport noise contours

This file contains the sound contours of the airports. The noise contours are based on the maximum use of the airport according to the airport decision for the airport concerned. The noise is displayed in the dose size Lden. This is an annual average, where night and evening respectively 5 and 10 dB are assessed more strictly. The Civil Airports Decree determines the spatial transmission of the noise contours: Within the 70 dB(A) contour, homes and noise-sensitive buildings are removed from their destination and new construction is not allowed. Between 70 and 56 dB(A) contours, the realisation of these objects is not entirely possible. The area between 48 and 56 dB(A) contour is considered a focus area for spatial developments. The contours must be reproduced in the zoning plan.
