Ambient vision- Wind energy focus area

In various areas are specific objects that require attention in the development of a wind farm. In these areas, the dialogue with the right parties is necessary in order to get the (im)opportunities clear at the earliest possible stage. These are areas around the following objects: Tube or pipe fittings; High-voltage power lines; Built-up areas, with the exception of industrial sites; Railways; National roads; The installation of wind turbines around these objects can be restricted by legal standards. The province will not participate in spatial planning if legal standards are not met. The indicative areas indicated as a focus area for these objects depend on the height and type of wind turbine used. This will vary per project. The update plan was adopted by the Provincial States on 19 December 2018.
