Dataset description

Indicative map of archaeological values (IKAW). This national file is the result of an arithmetic operation based on a model of the ROB (National Antiquity Soil Research Service). The starting point in the manufacture of the IKAW is that there is a link between the soil conditions and the activities of people in the past, such as arable farming. On this basis, the IKAW has indicated how high the chance is to encounter archaeological remains when implementing plans.
