Dataset description

In the publication Areas in the Netherlands 2006 a relationship between the municipal division (lowest administrative level) on 1 January 2006 and various subdivisions of Dutch territory at upper-municipal level. For the sake of convenience, these subheadings are area classifications also include the divisions of municipalities by size (residential) and urbanity. The format by size is based on the populations per municipality. Data available from: 1996 Frequency: yearly Status of the figures: Names are final.
