Basic map Nature Network Brabant, Ecological connection zone (line file)

Ecological connection zones (evz) are areas or structures that should allow connection, migration and exchange of species between nature areas. They are often elongated wet and/or dry landscape elements along dikes, watercourses, roads, rail and waterways. This geographic dataset contains the evz as a line object with information about its realisation and is called basic map NNB/EVZ (NNB = Nature Network Brabant). The realisation information comes from water boards. The location of the line objects follows the decision-making in the Regulation space of the search areas for ecological connection zones (with exceptions in Brabantse Delta water authority see below). These search areas are flat objects and form a zone of 25 meters on both sides of the evz line object. This geographic dataset is based on decision-making by the Space Regulation.
