The BAG (Basic Registrations Addresses and Buildings) is part of the government system of basic registrations. The BAG contains municipal basic data of all addresses and buildings in a municipality. Copies of all these data have been collected in a national provision (BAG LV).
The Land Registry manages the BAG LV and makes the data available to organisations with a public task, institutions, companies and individuals. The Minister for the Interior and Kingdom Relations is systemly responsible for the BAG.
Municipalities are source holders of the BAG. They are responsible for including the data in the BAG and for its quality. All municipalities make data on addresses and buildings centrally available via the National Supply Agency (BAGLV).
The BAG contains information about 5 object types: buildings, residences, number marks, public areas and residences. The attributes include status, surface, geometry, x-y-coordinate, year of construction and purpose. The BAG contains this data of all properties in the Netherlands.
Reuse: available, with limitations: private parties will be charged the costs of providing services. Check www.kadaster.nl/bag for an up-to-date delivery schedule and associated delivery costs.
On the Geoforum you can find much more information about the BAG and you can ask questions directly to other re-users: https://geoforum.nl/c/datasets/bag
