This table shows the average invoiced own contribution of accommodation units and the number of accommodation units. This concerns the number of living units using at least one WMO customisation facility in the care period in which the reference date falls. The tailor-made provision must be financed under the Social Support Act 2015 (Wmo 2015) and invoiced according to the Maximum Period Contribution (MPB) system.
The invoiced own contribution for WMO customisation facilities at home is determined by the CAK on the basis of the MPB system. From 2015 to 2018, the own contribution was determined per care period (4 weeks), taking into account the living unit composition, the AOW pension age of the living unit and the contributory income. In 2019, the use of support is subject to a subscription fee of 17.50 per care period (4 weeks). This amount applies regardless of the living unit composition, the AOW pension age of the living unit and the contributory income. The amount of 17.50 applies when using one or more forms of support. In order to relieve the financial burden of vulnerable citizens, municipalities may choose to apply a minima policy or to apply a lower maximum amount (lower than the EUR 17.50 of the subscription fee) for the own contribution or to set it at zero (exclusive of own contribution payment).
If, within a living unit, several types of WMO customisation facilities have been purchased at home, it is not possible to determine which part of the own contribution for which type of support has been paid. If, in the same period, care is also used within the living unit that is covered by the low own contribution/high own contribution (LEB/HEB) system (this concerns Wlz care and Wmo with stay), then the own contribution for WMO customisation facilities is waived at home and the own contribution will be EUR 0.
Municipalities have the freedom to offer support from the Wmo as a general or tailor-made service and whether or not to ask for their own contribution. The CAK only records tailor-made facilities for which an own contribution is requested. As a result, the choice of municipalities has an impact on the support registered by the CAK and on the figures based on it.
The table contains only accommodation units of which at least one person is registered in the Basic Registration Persons (BRP) in the reporting year. The figures are broken down by living unit composition, AOW pension age of the living unit and contributory income.
Data available from 2015 to 2019
Status of the figures:
The 2019 figures are provisional. The remaining figures are final. As this table has been discontinued, the data for the most recent reporting year are no longer finalised.
Changes as of 2 February 2022:
None, the table has been stopped.
As of 1 January 2020, for home-funded support from the 2015 Wmo, an income-independent subscription fee will be invoiced. This eliminates the income-dependent own contribution. With the statutory introduction of the Wmo subscription fee, the CAK no longer records data on the composition, age and contributory income of the living unit. As a result, it is not possible to continue this table.
When will there be new figures?
No longer applicable.
