Dataset description
The main streams in Limburg are divided into two groups: the natural streams and the streams with a general ecological function. For the AEF streams, restoration or improvement of the ecological functioning and nature function is only discussed after 2027. The main focus is now a good drainage and supply function aimed at a resilient water system in periods of high rainfall or drought. This has been elaborated in more detail in the Water Programme.
