Build on weak ground — Thickness holocene package

This dataset concerns the depth of the pleistocene package (which can be based on) compared to the ground level in meters. This dataset together with three other datasets (reliability TNO maps, settlement sensitivity (slap soil) and eruption sheet wall) is the information to determine the suitability of the subsurface for construction on weak ground and underground building and is part of the research report ‘Suitability maps of the subsurface for construction in North Holland’. All drillings available inside and outside North Holland were used in TNO’s DINO database, as well as maps of soil and geological structures.
