Build on weak ground — Zettings Sensitivity

This dataset reflects the settlement sensitivity of the soil in North Holland. Together with three other datasets (reliability of TNO maps, holocene thickness and eruption sheet wall), the set forms the information to determine the suitability of the subsurface for construction on weak ground and underground building and is part of the research report ‘Suitability maps of the subsurface for construction in North Holland’. All drillings available inside and outside North Holland have been used in TNO’s DINO database and maps that can help limit soil and geological structures.
