Building permits living spaces; type, client, property, municipality

This table publishes data on the estimated construction costs and the number of new buildings to be built for which the building permit granted has been reported to CBS. The results relate to building permits granted with a construction sum starting from 50 thousand euros, excluding VAT. The data are broken down by type of client, by type of housing (home, residential unit and recreational house), by type of property (rental and sale homes) and by municipalities. Since this table contains only the corresponding data of the municipalities, this table does not fit in with other published tables on building permits, therefore, it has been chosen not to aggregate by upper-municipal divisions such as province and part of the country. Data available from January 2012. Status of the figures: Figures from 2 012 to the second quarter of 2021 are final. The figures from the third quarter of 2021 are provisional. This table contains only the corresponding data received from the municipalities. Municipalities with non-response are not estimated. Completed declarations of municipalities over previous periods are included in the figures for the month in which the permit was granted. As a result, figures over the same month may vary over time. 12 months after publication, the provisional figure shall be definitively fixed. Changes as of 18 August 2022: The figures for the second quarter of 2021 have been finalised. The figures for the second quarter of 2022 have been added. Preliminary figures from the third quarter of 2021 to the first quarter of 2022 may differ slightly from the previous publication. When are new figures coming? The new figures will be published approximately 2 months after the reporting period. The figures for the same quarter of a year earlier than final.
